THIS SESSION IS FOR TEENS (AGES 13+)

Divis Educational Services provides a fantastic way for homeschoolers to socialize, exercise, and experience new places: Fab Fridays! Each session has a meaningful theme for interdisciplinary, often service-oriented activities and a trek away from the building to a nearby store, restaurant, art gallery, library, park, museum, etc. In the two years of the program, participants have been to about 70 destinations. All of Macon is our classroom!

Past visits include Hello Boba, Wear, The Tubman Museum, Macon Clay, Cherry Blossom Festival, ArtSpace Macon, Fanboy Comics, Macon Firehouse #2, Rose Park Labyrinth, Central Georgia Greek Festival, Bear's Books, St. Josephs Catholic Church, Poolsharks and Mermaids, Fresh Produce, StART Up Studios, Booker T. Washington Community Center, 567 Center for Renewal, Antebellum Senior Living, 3 Countries Restaurant, Mulberry Community Garden, Linwood Historic Cemetery, and Macon Outreach.

Participants bring a sack lunch and drink.
