SPRING 2025 TWEEN Fab Fridays! (ages 10-12)
THIS SESSION IS FOR TWEENS (AGES 10-12)
Divis Educational Services provides a fantastic way for homeschoolers to socialize, exercise, and experience new places: Fab Fridays! Each session has a meaningful theme for interdisciplinary, often service-oriented activities and a trek away from the building to a nearby park, the library, and/or another community neighbor (public services, museums, charities, etc.). Participants learn about how their community works, special issues facing the community, and the many opportunities to get involved and serve others.
Participants bring a sack lunch and drink and must dress appropriately for the weather and for walking. Participants must adhere to instructor(s) directives and cooperate with all pedestrian street rules.
This session is suitable for homeschooling inclusion as part of a core social studies / social science credit or a stand-alone elective credit. See director for guidance.
